In honour of our co-founders birth month, this week we’re taking a look at Mickey Vetere’s 1957 Chevrolet Bel-Air. Way back in 1958, 16-year-old Nancy Bellisario saw this car parked outside a local youth dance and whispered to her friend Clara, “I’m gonna find the guy who owns that car.” Long story short, she did… Then she married him. As the family grew, Mickey sold his car for something more practical but, decades later, found another to restore with his son Dom. Mickey credits his beloved family to that car, which played such an integral role in both Vetere family and Dom’s Auto Parts history.
