This month, our anniversary calendar features Dom Vetere’s labour of love: his 1969 Corvette Stingray. Dom has been, quite frankly, obsessed with Corvettes for his whole life, dating back to his introduction via his dad Mickey’s 1965 Vette (which was also Daytona Yellow). Dom’s had a number of these cars through his life including a 1972 C3 convertible and later a 1965 model, both donning his iconic “SINGLE” license plates… Which his wife eventually had him retire.
After stumbling on the Stingray at an auction and spending about 5 years fixing it up, there’s no doubt that this will be his forever-car. When asked why he finally settled on this beauty, he said that he thinks that out of all the Corvettes out there, this is his idea of the “perfect” car. Enjoy it, Dom!
