On March 11, 2003, Dom’s Auto Parts experienced a devastating fire that levelled the main office and garages. The 911 call came in as firefighters already had their hands full battling a shed fire on Concession 5. Because a large contingent of Clarington’s fire department was already tied up with the Concession 5 blaze, Oshawa Fire Services sent two trucks to help battle the Dom’s fire.
