About a decade after Dom Sr.’s passing, Dominic Vetere Jr. joined his father at the Courtice facility in the mid 1980’s, returning Dom’s Auto Parts to its former status as a “father-son business”. Though he’s beginning to spend more time on the golf course these days, much like his father before him, he’s still a very active presence at the yard, in our industry, and in our community. As past president of the Ontario Automotive Recyclers Association (OARA), Dom continues to be involved in the automotive industry that he has committed to advancing into the 20th century. Dom has secured his reputation as our resident philanthropist by being an ever-present source of local support through offering training grounds to Clarington’s fire and police departments and sponsoring dozens of local sports teams and charities over the years.
